Change Reservation Outlook - Need of the Hour!

The recent reservation policy changes of the Indian government have resulted in some brutal incidents in Delhi.

On the T.V. shows politicians were cornered that this kind of reservations increases the differences in the society and throw new groups for anti-socials activities.

Though this is a sensitive policy area for any government to change a current stand, it is quite surprising that the current government has encroached this policy for better vote bank; it is sure that it has wrongly focused on the turbulence that this would create on the society's harmony.

They are even pushing the private majors to introduce reservation in their employment policy. Such policies depict the cheap politics of the government to increase it reach to the majority vote bank juntas.

This problem had its start when they first targeted IIMs for reservation and the central control over its operation. Then they targeted IITs and RECs...Then they are pushing Private companies for reservation. Now it’s the reservation policies.

Over these 50 years, India has changed where we see wealthy and learned minority groups; weak and illiterate forward groups....

Today no government will have the guts to end up the reservation; though a through focus can better the situation where a government has to amend laws for creating a different outlook towards this reservation policy.

I feel a change in the outlook over the reservation is the need of the hour.
To begin with weaker section of the forward group must be considered and wealthier section of the minority group should compete in the open quota.

Though one may argue on the credibility to access ones wealth.... The government can have various ways to determine the same. For example if an backward group family who has got benefited through the government reservation policy for 2,3 0r 5 generations then they should not get the benefit anymore as the government has uplifted this weaker section and its time for them to swim on their own...

The best part part would be improve the quality of governments at all regions so that every one stand at equal level to compete for their studies after 12 years of study?..Why should the reservation be carried in every field till their death? After 50 years of such reservations its time that the reservation has a difference outlook.

Well, if common people like us can think so much I am sure the pundits of Indian policy makers in the planning commision will have better solutions in their kitty to offer, buts finally its the voted government, which has to decide its course for a better transformation of the society....

Alas, today no political party has the guts and unanimous support of its members to even think on such betterment for their fear of losing ruling power eclipses these aspects.

Only Literacy and people awareness can only turn the tide and make way for the better.... Lets hope such changes come to surface for better soon to see an indiscriminate India.
